Schnellstart
- Audio-Interface oder kabelgebundenen Kopfhörer anschließen – der Ton startet von selbst (oben rechts „AUDIO AN“).
- Bank VOCAL oder INSTR. wählen und ein Preset antippen.
- Effekte in der Signalkette öffnen, hinzufügen oder verschieben.
- Für die Bühne in den Spielmodus wechseln: Setlist, Szenen A–D und Fußschalter.
Voraussetzungen
Mac mit macOS 12 oder neuer. Empfohlen: ein Audio-Interface (USB-C oder Thunderbolt) für niedrige Latenz. Die iPad-Version folgt.

Wie schalte ich WindFX am Mac frei?
Du kannst WindFX 14 Tage kostenlos testen. Danach in der App „Lizenz eingeben“ wählen und die E-Mail-Adresse deiner Bestellung sowie den Lizenzschlüssel aus der Bestellbestätigung eintragen. Die Lizenz gilt für App und VST3-Plugin.
macOS blockiert den ersten Start.
WindFX ist noch nicht von Apple notarisiert. Öffne Systemeinstellungen › Datenschutz & Sicherheit und klicke auf „Dennoch öffnen“. Das ist nur beim ersten Start nötig.
Warum höre ich nichts über Bluetooth-Kopfhörer?
Bluetooth hat 100–300 ms Verzögerung und ist für Live-Spiel gesperrt. Nutze ein Interface oder einen kabelgebundenen Kopfhörer.
Es knackst oder setzt aus.
Unter SETUP › Audio einen größeren Buffer wählen und andere Apps schließen. Schalte das Testprotokoll ein und schick uns danach Feedback.
Wie verbinde ich einen MIDI-Fußschalter?
USB-Geräte werden automatisch erkannt, Bluetooth-Geräte unter SETUP › MIDI › „Bluetooth-MIDI verbinden“. Danach eine Funktion lange drücken und am Controller den Schalter betätigen (MIDI Learn). Sendet dein Controller Program Change (z. B. M-Vave Chocolate), stell unter SETUP › MIDI › EMPFANG „Program Change wählt“ auf Szenen A–D. Der MIDI-Monitor zeigt, was ankommt.
MIDI von anderen Apps, der DAW oder über das Netzwerk?
WindFX erscheint als MIDI-Port „WindFX“. Netzwerk-MIDI (RTP-MIDI) schaltest du unter SETUP › MIDI ein; am Mac verbindest du dich dann im Audio-MIDI-Setup.
Wie übertrage ich meine Sounds auf ein anderes Gerät?
SETUP › Import / Export › Komplett-Backup exportieren und auf dem anderen Gerät wieder einspielen.

Quick start
- Connect an audio interface or wired headphones – audio starts by itself (top right shows “AUDIO ON”).
- Choose the VOCAL or INSTR. bank and tap a preset.
- Open, add or move effects in the signal chain.
- On stage, switch to play mode: setlist, scenes A–D and foot switches.
Requirements
Mac with macOS 12 or later. Recommended: an audio interface (USB-C or Thunderbolt) for low latency. The iPad version is coming soon.
FAQ
How do I unlock WindFX on a Mac?
You can try WindFX free for 14 days. Then choose “Enter license” in the app and enter the email address of your order and the license key from your order confirmation. The license covers the app and the VST3 plug-in.
macOS blocks the first launch.
WindFX is not yet notarized by Apple. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”. This is only needed on first launch.
Why is there no sound on Bluetooth headphones?
Bluetooth has 100–300 ms latency and is blocked for live playing. Use an interface or wired headphones.
I hear clicks or dropouts.
Choose a larger buffer size under SETUP › Audio and close other apps. Turn on the test log and send us feedback afterwards.
How do I connect a MIDI foot switch?
USB devices are detected automatically, Bluetooth devices under SETUP › MIDI › “Connect Bluetooth MIDI”. Then long-press a function and press the switch on your controller (MIDI Learn). If your controller sends program change (e.g. M-Vave Chocolate), set SETUP › MIDI › RECEIVE “Program change selects” to Scenes A–D. The MIDI monitor shows what arrives.
MIDI from other apps, a DAW or the network?
WindFX appears as the MIDI port “WindFX”. Turn on network MIDI (RTP-MIDI) under SETUP › MIDI; on a Mac, connect in Audio MIDI Setup.
How do I move my sounds to another device?
SETUP › Import / Export › export a complete backup and import it on the other device.
