DBX Tuner

Free tuner and metronome for Android (iPhone & iPad coming soon). Current version: 1.0.0

  • Installing on Android: Download the ZIP file from the download email, unzip it in the “Files” app, open the APK file, allow “Install from this source” and allow the microphone on first launch.
  • The tuner doesn't react? Check the microphone permission (Settings › Apps › DBX Tuner › Permissions) and increase the sensitivity in the app. More tips in the manual under “Tips & troubleshooting”.

WindFX

Live effects processor for voice and wind instruments – for Mac as an app and VST3 plug-in. iPad and Windows coming soon.

  • Installing on a Mac: Open the installer (.pkg) from the download email and install the app, the VST3 plug-in or both. Allow microphone access on first launch.
  • macOS blocks the launch? WindFX is not yet notarized by Apple. Go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway” – only needed on first launch.
  • License: Try free for 14 days. Then choose “Enter license” in WindFX and enter the email address of your order and the license key from your order confirmation. The license covers the app and the VST3 plug-in.
  • No sound or crackling? Use an audio interface or wired headphones (Bluetooth is too slow) and choose a larger buffer under SETUP › Audio. More in the manual under “Tips & troubleshooting”.

Sample packs and loops

Applies to: Orient Sample Pack – FREE, Orient Sample Pack – Xtreme and Ilhan Dondurma – Zurna Loop

  • Format: WAV, 44.1 kHz – usable in any DAW and in samplers or keyboards with WAV import.
  • After downloading: Unzip the ZIP file on your computer and save the folder in a fixed place, e.g. your sample library. Keep an extra backup on your own storage.
  • In your DAW: Simply drag and drop the WAV files onto an audio track or into your sampler.
  • On keyboards and hardware samplers: Check which formats and how much memory your device supports, then copy the files to the device with a USB stick.
  • Zurna Loop – loading on Korg: The package includes a Korg SET folder. A video guide is here: Launchpad Yükleme (video, Turkish).

Sound sets for KORG PA-4X and PA-5X

Applies to: BASS & DAVUL SET – KORG PA-4X and BASS & DAVUL SET – KORG PA-5X

  • Compatibility: Each set is made for the named model. Use the PA-4X set only on the PA-4X and the PA-5X set only on the PA-5X.
  • Back up first: Back up your own data on the keyboard (under Media › Save) before loading, as your own styles and sounds in the same memory slots can be overwritten.
  • Loading: Copy the unzipped .SET folder to a USB stick, connect it to the keyboard and select and load the set under Media › Load. The exact steps are in your Korg keyboard's manual.
  • Problems loading? Write to info@dbxsound.com with your keyboard model, OS version and the error message shown.
